Senior Center Coloring Contest

The Bond County Senior Center

During the month of July, the Bond County Senior Center is sponsoring a coloring contest for senior citizens.

Jill Jones, senior center executive director, said the contest is open to anyone over the age of 60 and you can pick from four pre-approved coloring pages. Artists can use any medium they like. Three independent judges will select the winners, which will be announced on Senior Day at the Bond County Fair. Entries need to be in by 3 PM July 31.

Jones said the contest is designed to provide a fun activity for seniors.

Only one entry per person. Colored sheets must be turned into the senior center at 1001 East Harris Avenue in Greenville. At that time, an entry form will have to be completed.

Winners will be contacted on or about August 3 and awards will be presented at 1 p.m. August 6 during Senior Day at the Bond County Fair.
