A tractor, grain cart, and wheat, near Keyesport, were damaged by fire Monday afternoon.
According to Keyesport Fire Chief Jim Golder, Keyesport Firefighters responded Monday, at 5:40 p.m., to a report of a tractor and grain cart on fire in a wheat field on Keyesport Road near Rt. 127.
About fifteen acres of standing wheat and the tractor were a total loss and the grain cart received severe damage.
Mulberry Grove, Wheatfield, and Greenville Firefighters provided mutual aid. Med-Star Ambulance personnel were also on the scene.
There were no injuries and firefighters were on the scene about 90 minutes.
