The Bond County Unit 2 school board took action on personnel items during its June meeting.
David Oestreich resigned as a Social Studies teacher at Greenville Junior High.
He has been hired as assistant principal at Roxana Junior High and athletic director for the Roxana district.
The board accepted the retirement of Karen Fletcher, effective the end of the 2018-19 school year. She is a teacher’s aide at Greenville Junior High.
McKinsey Shelton was hired as an English teacher at the high school for the 2018-19 school year, pending successful receipt of Illinois teaching certification.
Michael Hearn was hired as a school bus driver and the board granted a leave of absence to Ramona Mollett, from July 9 to around August 21. She is a custodian at Greenville Elementary School.
