Randall D. “Randy” Schrage

Randall D. “Randy” Schrage, age 48 of Pocahontas, IL, died Wednesday, July 18, 2018, at Saint Louis University Hospital in Saint Louis, MO.

He was born February 11, 1970, in Springfield, IL, the son of Theodore
G. and Marie I. (nee Drake) Schrage.

He was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. He was also a member of Jamestown Coon Hunters Association; National Whitetails Unlimited.

Randy was born in Springfield, IL. He grew up on the family farm east of Jamestown where he learned to milk cows and drive a tractor. He was a 1988 graduate of Greenville High School. He worked for Basler Electric in Highland; Top Ag in Breese while helping operate the family farm. He loved to hunt (numerous Trophy Bucks hanging on wall at home). He enjoyed fishing and anything to do with outdoors. He enjoyed spending time with his nephews. He was the top basketball player at Pocahontas Grade School.

Nephew – Michael R. Cripe, Greenville, IL
Niece – Renee A. (Kaleb) Paul, Greenville, IL
Niece – Vanessa L. Knebel, Highland, IL
Nephew – Travis J. (Amy) Knebel, Trenton, IL
Great Niece – Alexys N. Spratt
Great Niece – Mallory F. Winka
Great Nephew – Sawyer T. Paul
Pet Dog – “Bandit”

He was preceded in death by:
Brother – Ryan N. Schrage – Died 9/16/2014

Arrangements are being handled by Spengel-Boulanger Funeral Home in Highland, IL.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Sunday, July 22, 2018, at Spengel-Boulanger Funeral Home in Highland, IL and from 8:00 AM to 9:30 AM on Monday, July 23, 2018, at Spengel-Boulanger Funeral Home in Highland, IL.

Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 AM on Monday, July 23, 2018, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Pierron, IL, with Father Paul J. Bonk, pastor presiding.

Interment will be at Calvary Cemetery in Pierron, IL.
