Marian C. Hemann, age 82 of Highland, IL, died Sunday, September 16, 2018, at Faith Care Center in Highland, IL.
She was born January 01, 1936, in Germantown, IL, the daughter of Arthur and Bernadine (nee Duepmann) Kniepmann.
On November 24, 1955, she married Bernard H. “Bud” Hemann at Germantown, IL. He who passed away on Friday, July 25, 2008.
She was a member of Saint Paul Catholic Church. She was also a member of Highland Khoury League (Coach and Secretary); St. Ann Altar Society; Highland Country Club; St. Joseph Hospital Auxiliary; St. Paul Church Choir.
Marian was born in Germantown, IL and attended a rural Germantown School. She worked in St. Louis at Graham Paper Co. for several years. She and her husband started their family and she stayed home with her children until the youngest started Kindergarten and she worked at Koch Cleaners in Highland. She worked there 30 years, retiring in the late 1990’s. She was an avid golfer and loved playing Bridge, as she belonged to 3 separate Bridge Groups. Her faith was very important to her and she recited 3 Rosaries a day. She loved her grandchildren very much and attended all of their activities and sporting events.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Wednesday, September 19, 2018, at Spengel-Boulanger Funeral Home in Highland, IL and from 8:00 AM to 9:30 AM on Thursday, September 20, 2018, at Spengel-Boulanger Funeral Home in Highland, IL.
Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 AM on Thursday, September 20, 2018, at Saint Paul Catholic Church in Highland, IL, with Father Pat G. Jakel officiating.
Interment will be at Saint Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Highland, IL.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph Hospital Ladies Auxiliary or St. Paul School Educational Foundation.
