Jacob Hall, who played his high school football at Greenville High School, concluded his college career at Azusa Pacific University with honors from the Great Northwest Athletic Conference.
Hall was named the conference’s first team kicker and punter. He was also the top punter in 2017.
This season, Hall made 10 of 15 field goal attempts with 4 of them 40 yards or longer. He converted 38 of 40 extra point kicks and was second on the team in scoring with 68 points.
Late in the season, his kicks won back-to-back games for the Cougars.
As a punter, the former Comet averaged 43.5 yards per punt, seventh best in NCAA Division II. He had 13 punts of 50 yards or longer.
The Cougars were conference co-champs and advanced to the Division II national playoffs, falling in the opening round. They had an 8 and 4 overall record.
