At a special meeting February 11, the Bond County Unit 2 school board hired Kara Harris as high school principal, beginning July 1.
At its meeting last week, the board approved a three-year contact for Harris in that position.
Her salary is to be determined.
Harris is currently principal at Sorento School. This is her second year there.
