Greenville Firefighters Responded Thursday, at 4:07 p.m., to a report of a Vermeer skid steer vehicle on fire. According to the fire report, the operator noticed smoke coming from the engine compartment, shut it down and called the fire department. The cause of the fire is undetermined. Damage is estimated at approximately $40,000.00. Firefighters were on the scene about an hour.
