Donna L. Scott, age 64 of Greenville, passed away Tuesday, April 2, 2019 at HSHS Holy Family Hospital in Greenville.
A Celebration of Life service will be held 6:00 p.m. Monday, April 8, 2019 at the Donnell – Wiegand Funeral Home in Greenville. Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. Monday at the Donnell – Wiegand Funeral Home in Greenville.
Donna Lea, the daughter of Thomas and Mary Hazel Long Conner, was born May 12, 1954 in Vandalia, Illinois. Donna grew up in Mulberry Grove, Illinois, attended the local schools and graduated from Mulberry Grove High School. She worked at the Pantry in Greenville for many years, then serving at the Fin and Feather Keyesport, Illinois.
Donna and Michael O. Scott were united in marriage in November of 1970 in Missouri. They have enjoyed 48 years together. Surviving are their children: William “Will” Scott and wife Aubrie of Columbia, Illinois, Shonda Barber and husband Scott of Greenville and Chelsey Scott of Greenville. Donna was the grandmother of 6: Noah Scott, Aidan Scott, Benjamin Scott, Jacob Barber, Shelby Barber and Kellen Scott. She is also survived by a brother and 3 sisters.
Donna in retirement enjoyed spending as much time with her family and grandchildren as she could.
