Bond County 4-H Member First In Horse Judging Contest

Bond County 4-H member, Joely Craver, of Liberty 4-H Club placed first in the non-reasons division of the 2019 4-H State Horse Judging Contest. The annual competition was held at Black Hawk College East Campus (BHE) near Galva, IL on Saturday, April 27. Craver is 15 years old, this is her eighth year in 4-H. Although was her first trip to the State Horse Judging Contest, she has been competing in horse bowl and hippology, which involve learning about judging and animal confirmation, for the past six years.
