The Bond County Independence Day Festival Association is releasing the complete music lineup for the 2019 Fourth Fest, to be held in downtown Greenville, Saturday, July 6.
The day will be filled with a variety of music.
The headlining act, Confederate Railroad, was previously announced and will play on the Bradford National Bank main stage from 8 to 9:30 p.m., ending just before the fireworks display.
In addition to Confederate Railroad, the lineup includes Pat Liston, Jeff Chapman, the Greenville Municipal Band, a Scott Air Force Base band, and the tribute band, Big Love.
The St. Louis-based Mama’s Pride was formed in 1972 and became nationally known by recording two albums on national labels, and touring the USA with some of the top acts in America. The band’s song, “Blue Mist,” is one of KSHE Radio’s classic cuts.
Liston was a member of Mama’s Pride, singing, and playing guitar and keyboards. His solo performance in Greenville will be from 1 to 3 p.m. in the shade on the south steps of the courthouse.
Jeff Chapman is a Greenville resident with many years of performing experience in rock and roll, country and blues music. He will also play a solo set at the courthouse steps from 3 to 5 p.m.
The Greenville Municipal Band, under the direction of Chris Woods, will be in concert from 5 to 6 p.m. on the east courthouse lawn. The Air Force Band will perform from on the main stage from 6 to 7 p.m.
Immediately following the fireworks, Big Love, a Fleetwood Mac tribute band, will finish Fourth Fest with music until midnight. Big Love is one of the top tribute bands in the St. Louis area, playing almost exact covers of Fleetwood Mac’s songs including “Dreams,” “Say You Love Me,” and “Don’t Stop.”
Big Love will be teaming up in June with Silver Bullet, which was at last year’s Fourth Fest, to perform at the Family Arena in St. Charles, MO.
All of the music during Fourth Fest is provided free, thanks to the generosity of several sponsors.
The 2019 Fourth Fest will once again have a kid’s area, including a carnival, plus food vendors and a beer tent.
