Memorial Day Program In Greenville

Over 200 people gathered at the Greenville First United Methodist Church Monday morning for the annual Memorial Day Program.
The featured speaker was Army Veteran Janis Kasten of Greenville. She presented a moving address about her military experiences, the importance of Memorial Day, and how Abraham Lincoln’s Gettysburg Address is as relevant today as it was when given.

The Greenville Municipal Band performed at the program. Also participating were members of Boy Scout Troop 1057, Bill Johnston, John Coleman, Pastor Bob Chase, Howard Wise and many local veterans.
