Mulberry Grove Village Board Welcomes New Trustees


During Monday’s meeting, newly elected Mulberry Grove Village Board Trustees took the oath of office and were seated. Village Clerk Tammy Jolliff administered the oath to Dave Koonce and Dennis Henrichsmeyer. Board members approved the recommendation to appoint Ranāe Closson board clerk and Mike Burlingame board trustee to fill a vacant seat.

The board approved the purchase of a double check valve to be attached to a water meter on the fire hydrant at the water tower to allow filling of large tanks. The attachment will be used for purchasers using 25,000 gallons or more. The double check valve will cost approximately $900.00. The set-up fee for users is $100.00 with a charge of $250.00 for the first 25,000 gallons and $10.00 per thousand gallons thereafter.

Representatives of a mosquito treatment company will be invited to the June meeting to present a program on mosquito control.
