Tuesday Loss For Comets Baseball

The baseball Comets were handed their seventh loss of the season Tuesday afternoon at Okawville.

GHS took the lead with two runs in the first inning, but was blanked the rest of the way.

The Rockets won the game, 3-2, with two runs in the bottom of the seventh.

The varsity Comets are now 18-7 for the season.
The junior varsity Comets defeated Okawville 10-4. Christian Bauer earned the pitching win in relief.

He also had a good offensive day with two doubles and two RBIs. Clayton Dannaman drove in two runs and Aiden Johnson had two hits.
