VFW Post 1377 recently sponsored an American Red Cross blood drive in the Post on South Fourth Street in Greenville.
Fifty people registered with forty-two units of whole blood and five units of red blood cells collected. The Red Cross goal was 41 units.
Jane Hillard earned a 10-gallon pin, Paul Cayo a 5-gallon pin, Rachel Rabe a 2-gallon pin, and Cody Heckman a 1-gallon pin. Curtis Flake, Kyle LaTempt, and Kyle Littlefield donated red blood cells.
