Fourth Fest Less Than Two Weeks Away

The Bond County Fourth Fest is less than two weeks away.

It is Saturday, July 6 in downtown Greenville.

In addition to a day filled with music, Fourth Fest will have many other attractions.

For the first time the event will feature a carnival to be set up on College Avenue on the north side of the Bond County Courthouse.

There will be other activities for the kids and the Oscar Mayer Wiener Mobile and sampling trailer will be on site to give out free hot dogs.

Several food vendors will be at Fourth Fest and there will be a beer tent.

A big fireworks display will begin at 9:30 p.m. Visitors can sit in the downtown area and watch the fireworks. The display will also be visible in most other areas of the city and the rural area around Greenville.

The carnival opens at 1 p.m. Music performances also begin at that time and will continue until midnight.
