A member of the Greenville High School baseball program the past four years will be playing college baseball.

Hunter Gray, a pitcher and first baseman for the Comets, has decided to attend Greenville University and play baseball for the Panthers.

Greenville University Head Coach Lynn Carlson is excited Gray is joining the program.

He anticipates Gray will be used solely as a pitcher.

In his senior season, Gray was named to the South Central Conference second team as a pitcher, and won the Comets’ Infielder Gold Glove Award.

Hunter is the son of Cindy and Jeff Gray of rural Greenville.
