May Bond County Animal Control Report


The May Bond County animal control report, submitted by Officer Jim Hess, indicates there were 97 complaints.

A total of 25 dogs and 38 cats were impounded with 14 dogs and one cat released to owners.

Nine cats were released to the Bond County Humane Society, and one dog and 4 cats were adopted through the Bond County shelter. Two dogs and two cats were released to no-kill shelters.

Hess reported 7 dogs and 11 cats were euthanized.

There were 3 reports last month of animals biting humans.
