Pocahontas School Graduation

Twenty-five eighth graders recently graduated at Pocahontas School.

Several students were presented special honors.

Sydnee Godier received the Woodmen of the World American History Award, the Dave Moore Award, the American Legion Scholar Athlete Award, and the school’s Math and Music awards.

Receiving the Language Arts and Dave Moore awards was Ava Curry. Kelsie Hemann was recipient of the American Legion Citizenship and the school’s science awards.

Other students presented honors were Samara Dornin, Art Award; Gavin Kaegy, American Legion Citizenship Award; Mariah Smith, the Robin Elliott Award; Easton Maroon, the American Legion Scholar-Athlete Award; and Brooke Smith, Outstanding 8th Grader Award.
