Red Cross Drive Results

American Red Cross blood drives were conducted near the end of May in Sorento and Mulberry Grove.

The Sorento 4-H Club sponsored the event at the Shoal Creek Fire Department firehouse in Sorento. Sixteen prospective donors registered, with 12 productive units collected.

Rodney Christin earned an 18-gallon pin. Rachel Moss was presented a blood-drop pin as a first-timer donor.

The Mulberry Grove blood drive at the park building was hosted by American Legion Post 1180.

Fifteen people registered and 14 units of blood were collected.

Reaching milestones in donations were Jake Tompkins, 26 gallons, and Bill Eubank, 12 gallons. Cindy Lewis received a pin as a first-time blood donor.
