Student Awards Presented At State FFA Convention

As previously reported on WGEL, the Greenville FFA Chapter recently participated in the FFA State Convention in Springfield. Twelve students including nine officers were in attendance.

Greenville FFA member Shelby McCray was recognized for earning her American FFA Degree. She will receive it at National Convention this fall.

Levi Siebert participated in his final year of State FFA Chorus. Levi has participated in the IL State FFA chorus for 3 years.

Those receiving their State Degrees were Logan Doll, Grace Baum, Marissa Schaefer, Wil Harnetiaux, Brad Beckert, and Leah Betts.

This was the 91st State FFA Convention. The theme was “Elevate”. In addition to attending sessions by with major state officers, Greenville members toured Abraham Lincoln’s home and went to Knights Action Park for some go-cart riding and mini golf.
