A vehicle fire was reported just before midnight Wednesday night on Mt. Moriah Ave.
Mulberry Grove firefighters responded to find a pickup truck parked at a residence fully engulfed in flames. The vehicle owner told fire personnel he believed the truck was struck by lightning during the storm.
The truck was parked between a house and garage and some of the siding on the home sustained minor damage from the blaze.
The truck was a total loss.
No one was injured and crews were on the scene for about an hour.
