Officials at the Greenville Federal Correctional Institution are pleased to be hosting a Job Fair Wednesday, July 31 at the FCI Training Center.
In recent years, the FCI has been understaffed, but now over 30 correctional officer positions are available. Applicants must be at least 21 years old and not more than 36.
Those interested in a career with the Bureau of Prisons are invited to the Job Fair. Staff will be available to answer questions and assist in expediting the hiring process.
All applications will take place online at USAJobs.com. Individuals can go to that site before the Job Fair to set up an account.
The Job Fair is from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. with applicants being accepted until 2:30. The process takes two to three hours to complete.
Applicants must bring a resume showing three years of full time work, two forms of identification, and, if applicable, a veteran DD-214 and/or transcripts. If applying as a disabled veteran, they should bring a VA disability certificate.
