Those driving by the site of Bicentennial Park in Greenville have noticed playground equipment being installed by the Kingsbury Park District.

The park is on the northwest corner of the intersection of Winter and Fourth Streets.

Park District Director Jerry Sauerwein said last week’s rain slowed progress a bit, but it looks like the playground equipment will be done in the next week or so. There will be an interpretive panel installed at the park. A border will also be put up around the perimeter.
