The Lemuel Rhodes Cancer Foundation (LRCF) is raffling a 1966 Ford Galaxie 500 that was donated in the memory of Connie Borror and Jason Sugg, both of whom lost their battle with cancer. The 4-door car is white in color, with new tires, a rebuilt transmission, and extensive interior and exterior renovations. Among the unique features of the 1966 Galaxie are the vertically stacked dual headlights.

Tickets may be purchased for $20 each or 3 for $50. Tickets will be sold at several upcoming events including the Bond County Fourth Fest on July 6; the Pocahontas Picnic on July 13; the Bond County Fair; and the Mulberry Grove Homecoming on August 10.

The car will be on display at all of the events where tickets are sold.

Updates will be posted on the Lemuel Rhodes Cancer Foundation’s Facebook page.

The winner will be drawn at the LRCF Celebration of Life on September 28. The winner need not be present to win.
