The recent weather has caused a delay in work underway near the junction of Illinois Rt. 127 and Interstate 70.
The project is completed at the westbound ramps, and they are now open.
The work on the eastbound ramps was delayed a week and resumed this week. The eastbound entrance ramp is closed this week, and plans are for the eastbound exit ramp to be closed beginning Tuesday, July 23. Each ramp is expected to be closed five days.
The ramps are being partially reconstructed at their intersections with Rt. 127.
Because the ramp work was delayed, the start of the project around the Rt. 127 Bridge at I-70 has been pushed back.
