It is the second straight year that the Unit 2 budget has ended with a positive balance. Board members expressed their appreciation for everyone’s efforts concerning the budget.

Also at the recent meeting, the board approved a resolution to abate $25,000 in working cash funds and transfer them to the operations and maintenance fund to cover expenses.

With a new fiscal year underway, the board took action to allow the district to spend money from July 1 until a fiscal year 2020 budget is passed in a couple of months.
