Friday is the second day of the Bond County Fair.
Adrianne Eilers, fair secretary, said there’s a Beef Show Friday and the Antique Farm Machinery Expo starts at noon and runs through Sunday. The carnival is open from 6 to 9:30 PM every day.
The public is also welcome to play bingo with the Lemuel Rhodes Cancer Foundation Friday.
The Illinois Hot Farm Stock Tractor, Antique Tractor, and 4-Wheel Drive Truck pulls will be the featured grandstand event. Music from a live band will follow that.

Eilers said the weekend is also packed with activities for fair-goers of all ages.
Saturday is Kids’ Day with $15 armbands for the carnival, which will be open from 2 to 5 PM. Quarter Midget Races will be held Saturday at 12:30. There will be pony rides and a petting zoo Saturday as well.
The featured event Saturday is the Power Wheels Derby followed by the annual car demo derby.
Sunday will feature a rabbit show and hog show and an Arrive & Drive event at the QMA track. There will be a bean bag tournament at noon followed by a Kiddie Pedal Pull at 1:30 PM and a Touch-A-Truck event from 2 to 4 PM.
Sunday night’s grandstand event is a rodeo, sponsored by HSHS Holy Family Hospital.

Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday have special themes, according to Eilers.
Friday is Farmer’s Day and features a farmer’s appreciation luncheon. Saturday is Kids’ Day, and Sunday features a family atmosphere. Monday is Senior Citizen Day.
