July Bond County Animal Control Report

The July Bond County animal control report has been issued by Officer Jim Hess.

Last month, the animal control officer received 74 animal complaints. He impounded six dogs and 23 cats with three dogs released to owners.

Two dogs were released to the Bond County Humane Society, and one dog and five cats were released to no-kill shelters. There were three cat adoptions through the Bond County shelter.

The county shelter euthanized 10 cats and two dogs.

Officer Hess investigated three animal bite reports last month, two which occurred in Greenville and one in Mulberry Grove.
