Karl L. Eversgerd, age 49, of Germantown, died Tuesday, August 20, 2019 at St. John’s Mercy Medical Center in St. Louis, MO.
He was born February 18, 1970 in Breese, a son of Alice, nee Albers, Eversgerd and the late LeRoy Eversgerd.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Franklin and Veronica, nee Netemeyer, Eversgerd and Herman and Catherine, nee Frohn, Albers.
Surviving are his mother, Alice Eversgerd of Germantown; siblings, Joan (Dan) Fultz of Sullivan, Karen Buehne of O’Fallon, Dawn (Ken) Fischer of Bartelso, Lynn (Steve) Diekemper of Carlyle, Neal (Jacque) Eversgerd of Germantown, and Dale Eversgerd of Germantown; nieces and nephews, Sara Fultz, Alicia (Joe) Wondolowski, Alex (friend Ina Redstone) Buehne, Logan (friend Krista Timmermann) Fischer, Leann Fischer, Cody Diekemper, Chad Diekemper, and Callie Diekemper and was anticipating the birth of his first great-niece/nephew in October; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Karl was a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church in Germantown and worked at Continental Tire in Mt. Vernon for the last 27 ½ years. He enjoyed farming and all things John Deere.
Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday, August 24, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Germantown with Fr. James Buerster presiding. Interment will follow in St. Boniface Cemetery, Germantown.
Visitation will be Saturday, August 24, 2019 from 8:30-10:30 a.m. at Moss Funeral Home in Germantown.
In lieu of flowers, plants, and other gifts, memorials may be made to the donor’s choice and will be received at the funeral home.
