Mildred R. LePes, age 97 of Pocahontas, IL, died Wednesday, August 14, 2019, at Saint Joseph’s Hospital in Highland, IL.
She was born on Tuesday, January 31, 1922, in Jonesboro, AR, the daughter of Burton and Myrtle (nee Draper) Wilkins.
She married Jerry Charles LePes who passed away on Sunday, June 20, 1965.
She was born in Jonesboro, Arkansas and grew up in East St. Louis, IL. Following her marriage, she lived in East St. Louis, IL until moving to Pocahontas, IL in 1970. She enjoyed arts and crafts.
