New Greenville Police Sergeant

When Scott Workman took over last week as chief of police for the City of Greenville that opened up a sergeant position on the force.

The Board of Police Commissioners met Friday and offered the sergeant post to a current officer, based on an eligibility list.

Greenville native Stefan Neece has accepted the sergeant job, effective immediately. Neece was hired as a Greenville officer in December of 2011 and completed the police academy in early 2012.

He joins Deb Keserauskis as a sergeant in the department.

Chief Workman welcomed Neece to his new position and said he believes he will do an excellent job.

Neece graduated from Greenville High School in 2005 and is also a graduate of Greenville University. He is currently working on a master’s degree in leadership studies from Marshall University.
