Norma E. “Toots” Steinmann, age 89 of Staunton, IL, died Wednesday, August 07, 2019, at Community Memorial Hospital in Staunton, IL.

She was born on February 01, 1930, in Worden, IL, the son/daughter of Walter and Bertha (nee Reising) Steinmann.

She was a member of Saint Paul Lutheran Church. She was also a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church Choir.

Norma was born in rural Worden. She attended St. Paul Lutheran School. She worked at Marine Garment Factory, then attended school to become a beautician. She owned her own shop in Hamel called Norma’s Beauty Salon. She then went to work at Irma’s Beauty Salon in Edwardsville, IL and then worked at Larry’s Hair Studio in Edwardsville, until her retirement. She participated in a card club playing Pinochle. She really enjoyed family get togethers and was very dedicated to her church and volunteering at most church functions.

Arrangements are being handled by Dauderman Mortuary in Hamel, IL.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM Sunday, August 11, 2019, at Saint Paul Lutheran Church in Hamel, IL and from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM, at Saint Paul Lutheran Church in Hamel, IL.

Funeral service will be at 10:00 AM on Monday, August 12, 2019, at Saint Paul Lutheran Church in Hamel, IL., with Rev. Benjamin Ball officiating.

Interment will be at Saint Paul Lutheran Cemetery in Hamel, IL.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul Lutheran Church.
