Greenville Police July Activity Report


A review of the Greenville Police Department’s July activity report shows there were 10 arrests.

Five were made on warrants, three on misdemeanor charges and two on felony charges.

Officers issued 27 traffic tickets.

Police responded to 23 requests for vehicle unlocks, assisted 17 motorists in other ways, responded to 12 burglar alarms sounding and discovered five unlocked businesses during nights.

The Governor Bond Lake patrol officer worked 116 hours in July. It was estimated 358 persons used the lake and 12 verbal warnings were issued by the officer.
