The Greenville University football team opened the 2019 season at home last Saturday, falling to Wartburg 60-21.
The Panthers led 14-0 early in the contest, but Wartburg battled back to lead 20-14 at the end of the quarter. Wartburg outscored GU 40-7 the rest of the game.
Former Greenville High School player Christian Moss carried the ball 9 times for GU and gained 21 yards.
The Panthers are back at home this Saturday, going up against Kalamazoo. Kickoff is 1 p.m.
