Pie Auction Day Two Total $5,498



Two days into WGEL’s Annual Great Celebrity Pie Auction, $11,758 has been raised to benefit the Lemuel Rhodes Cancer Foundation!

Thanks to our pie bakers today: Sorento Principal Amy Jackson, Pocahontas Principal Jason Rakers, Tyson Graber of the Greenville First Christian Church, WGEL Farm Reporter Joe Doll, Bond County Board Member Gerald “Spanky” McCray, Greenville Economic Development Director Bill Walker & Greenville Tourism Director Jes Adam. Collectively, their pies brought in $5,498 today.

Thursday is the final day! Our bakers include Bond County State’s Attorney Dora Mann at 7 AM, Lady Comets Basketball Coach Kolin Dothager & Boys’ Coach Todd Cantrill at 7:30 AM, Greenville Police Chief Scott Workman at 8, Bond County Health Department Administrator Sean Eifert at 8:30, and we’ll round out the auction with Bradford National Bank President Mike Ennen & Bradford National Bank Community Relations Director Randy Alderman at 9 AM.

This is a great community effort to benefit a great local cause! Bid early, bid often, and bid BIG Thursday…to benefit the Lemuel Rhodes Cancer Foundation!
