Another Win For GU Football

The very good season of the Greenville University football team continued last Saturday.

Playing Crown College in Minnesota, the Panthers posted a 32-6 victory.

G.U. built a 32-0 lead before Crown scored with six minutes remaining.

Former Greenville Comet player, Christian Moss, scored the Panthers first touchdown on a 13-yard run with 5:29 left in the first quarter. He finished the game running with 51 yards on 6 carries. Moss also caught a pass which gained eight yards.

Paul Garrett ran for 193 yards and two TDs for Greenville.

The Panthers are 5-2 overall and 4-1 in the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference.

They are tied for second in the league with MacMurray, and play at MacMurray this Saturday.

Greenville has two home games remaining in the regular season, November 9 and 16.
