Jeff Chapman of Greenville is very popular in this area and St. Louis as a singer-musician.

He stays busy doing solo work, teaming up with his brother, Jerry, as a duo, fronting the Brother Jefferson blues band and leading Chapman Brothers band.

He recently teamed up with Rich McDonough of St. Louis to compete in the Road To Memphis Blues Challenge. The Brother Jeff/Big Rich Duo won the contest and in January will represent the St. Louis Blues Society in the International Blues Challenge in Memphis, Tennessee.

On October 13, Chapman will be performing with Popcorn and the Salt Shakers at the Pinetop Perkins Homecoming in Clarksdale, Mississippi.

The Brother Jefferson Band returns to the Sheldon concert hall in St. Louis on November 19 to play in the Notes From Home Concert Series.

Chapman said a new album of original Brother Jefferson music is being recorded with the hopes it will be released on November.
