Many stores already have Christmas merchandise for sale and soon Greenville will be celebrating the Christmas season with its Come Home For Christmas event on November 30.
Come Home For Christmas is sponsored by the Greenville chamber of Commerce.
Elaine McNamara, executive director of the Chamber, said the event is the last day of November and there has been an exciting addition. There will be an ice skating rink set up on College Avenue from 4 to 8 PM. Skating will be free.

The parade marshals will be Elsa and Anna from “Frozen.” They will meet everyone after the parade.
McNamara said there will be many other activities in downtown Greenville throughout the evening.
She said the Chamber is also sponsoring a couple of decorating contests for the holiday. One will be the residential decorating contest. The other is a business window decorating contest, to be judged at Come Home For Christmas November 30.
