Another successful Celebration of Life was held last Saturday by the Lemuel Rhodes Cancer Foundation of Bond County.
The featured speaker for the opening ceremony was Brenda Lohman.
She spoke about being diagnosed with stage three colorectal cancer in April of 2017, and told her story about treatment and her faith in God.
Lohman also addressed the importance of the cancer foundation. She said everyone is surviving something. She also said we all share in the bright light the LRCF provides in Bond County.

The Lemuel Rhodes Cancer Foundation helps cancer patients by paying some of the cost insurance does not cover.
It was announced at the end of Saturday’s event that $48,328 had been raised during the past year for the foundation.
