Greenville University Homecoming

The Greenville University Band preforms in last year's GU Homecoming Parade.

Greenville University is celebrating homecoming this week with activities Thursday through Sunday.

Friday begins with Alumni Awards at 9:30 a.m. in the music center and the parade is at 4:30 p.m.

Panther Palooza follows the parade in downtown Greenville.

The university choir performs at 7:30 p.m. Friday in the music center.

Sports contests are scheduled from 3:30 to 7 p.m.

Saturday’s events include the Panther 5K at 8:30 a.m., the dedication and ribbon cutting for the new Early Childhood Lab at 1106 South Elm Street at 10 a.m., and the homecoming football game at 1 p.m. The all-alumni dinner is that evening.

Sunday morning, the Greenville University choir will perform special music for the 8:30 a.m. worship service at the Greenville Free Methodist Church. A brunch will be available at the Armington Center from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The university Concert Band performs in Whitlock Music Center at 3 p.m. Sunday.
