The annual Panther 5K Road Race at Greenville University is scheduled for Saturday, October 19 as part of the university’s homecoming.
The race begins at 8:30 a.m. on College Avenue near Spruce Street. Registration is $30 and can be done online at greenville.edu/homecoming until 11:59 p.m. October 15.
Entries will be accepted on race day.
The overall finisher and top finishers in age groups will receive awards.
Children 7 years and younger are invited to join the mascot Hoguey, in the children’s fun run on Scott Field at 8 a.m. October 219. Those ages 8 through 12 will be in the College Avenue Dash, which starts at 8:15 a.m.
Registration for each children’s’ race is $5 per person. Participants receive t-shirts.
