Odorizzi Pitches Well In Playoff Loss

Jake Odorizzi

Highland native Jake Odorizzi pitched well in his playoff pitching debut Monday night, but he didn’t get any run support.

The Minnesota Twins lost to the New York Yankees 5-1 and the Yankees swept the best-of-five series.

Odorizzi was the starter and pitched five innings. He allowed just two earned runs on five hits and struck out five.
