Animal Control October Report

The October animal control report for Bond County has been released.

There were 21 animal complaints from Greenville residents and 17 complaints from those living outside of the city.

A total of seven dogs and nine cats were impounded last month with seven of the dogs released to owners. Three dogs from the county/city shelter were given to the Bond County Humane Society, and two were released to no-kill centers.

The report indicates two dogs and eight cats were euthanized.

The animal control officer was notified of one animal bite that occurred out in the county.
