City Council Discusses Levy

At its regular November meeting, the Greenville City Council agreed not to increase its real estate tax levy by more than five percent for taxes to be paid in 2020.

City Manager Dave Willey made that recommendation. No truth in taxation hearing will be required.

The tax levy will be on the council’s agenda at the December 10 meeting. It must be approved and submitted to the county clerk in late December.
