The Greenville University football continued its excellent season with a home victory Saturday against Iowa Wesleyan. The final score was 21-0.
The Panthers led only 7-0 at halftime, but posted points with two field goals, early in the third and fourth quarters, by Rafael Soares de Castro. They scored a final touchdown with 3:50 left to play as Christian Moss got into the end zone from four yards out.
Moss had 10 carries in the game for 30 yards. Overall, the Panthers totaled 121 yards rushing and 122 yards passing.
Paul Garrett ran for 90 yards and quarterback George Harris threw for 115 yards.
Greenville University is now 7-2 for the season. The team’s final regular season game is Saturday at home against Minnesota Morris. Opening kickoff is at noon.
