The Benjamin Mills Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution has honored three Greenville High School seniors in its Good Citizen Program.
The recipient of the DAR Good Citizen Award for the 2019-2020 school year is Olivia Peters of Greenville. She is the daughter of Linda and George Peters.
Olivia is a member of the National Honor Society, is a previous student of the month at GHS, and has been a state competitor in the Academic Challenge.
She is involved in scholar bowl, school plays and musicals, and the art club.
Olivia Peters plans to attend a liberal arts college.
DAR Good Citizen runners-up are Abbigale Brunk and Chloe Macon, both from Greenville. Abbigale is the daughter of Chandra and Bobby Williams and Chloe is the daughter of Debbie and Anthony Macon.
Both are in the National Honor Society and have been involved in a variety of high school, activities.
After high school, Macon plans to attend the St. Louis College of Pharmacy and Brunk plans to attend Murray State University or Austin Peay University to major in computer science.
The finalists and winner are selected by the high school teachers. The honors are based on dependability, service, leadership and patriotism.
