Greenville High School will be presenting the play “Harvey” later this month.
Scott Spencer is director of the production and told us about the play is best known for Jimmy Stewart playing the main role on Broadway and later in the motion picture. He said the main character sees and talks to an invisible oversized rabbit.

Rehearsals began in early September.
Twelve students act in the play. They are Trystan Watson, Chloe Beckert, Eli Borwick, Morgan Wilderman, Olivia Peters, Kyra Wells, Justin Matthews, Nathaniel Williams, Cainan Grove, Sarah Brannon, Josh Doty, and Friedrich Peters. Emma Nord is stage manager and assistant director.
Spencer said the students have been great to work with. He said they are bright, talented, and fun. He said there’s a family atmosphere among the group.

“Harvey” will be presented Friday and Saturday, November 15 and 16. The curtain opens at 7 p.m. in the GHS auditorium.
