GHS Volleyball Awards

Season awards have been given to members of the 2019 Greenville High School volleyball program.

Varsity honors went to Marissa Schaefer for the Heart and Hustle Award, Rylee Pickett for the Defense Award, Justyce Stephenson for the Assist Award, and Natalie Iberg for the Offense Award.

Iberg set a new school record for kills in a season with 256, and Stephenson now has the record for assists in a season with 507.

Pickett finished her senior season fifth in service aces for a season with 39, third in digs for a season with 574, fourth in digs for a career with 895 and ninth in aces for a career with 63.

Iberg, a junior, is sixth in kill percentage for a season at 34%. Seniors Chloe Macon and Grace Baum are now 12th and 13th for solo blocks in a season.

Brooklyn Suzuki was given the junior varsity Defense Award. Freshman honors went to Claire Dannaman, the Heart and Hustle Award; Kat Haas, Most Improved Award; and Ava Curry, Defense Award.
