Princess Lugge Slimed At GES

It was slime time Friday afternoon at the Greenville Elementary School.

The students reached their goal in a fundraiser and their reward was sliming Music Teacher Kim Lugge, better known to them as Princess Lugge.

Parents Club President Brenna Garnett Hopkins said the boys and girls were very excited about the sliming. She said the kids “crushed the goal” of $1,500 total, between box tops and dimes. The students brought in $2,225. Sliming Princess Lugge was just one incentive, but Brenna said that was the biggest one for the kids. Through efforts like this, the club has raised more than enough to purchase new swings this spring.
